2004 Green Buildings Open House At a Glance

Title	2003 New York City Green Buildings Open House - New York City

Location	Green Buildings in the Five Boroughs of New York City
Description	Organized tours of more than a dozen New York City Green Buildings, open to the public.
Purpose	To give New Yorkers a chance to get inside Green buildings throughout the five boroughs and discover how they work with the environment.
Activities	Guided tours of select buildings. Presentations by developers, architects and owners. Pre and post-tour receptions.
Background	The 2004 New York City Green Buildings Tour is organized locally by GreenHomeNYC, a community-oriented, volunteer-driven nonprofit group that supports environmentally responsible building in New York City, in association with the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association. The tour is a part of the American Solar Energy Society's National Tour of Solar Buildings.
Audience	Architects, engineers, environmental professionals, homeowners and New York denizens interested in buildings and environmental issues.
