Big & Green - November 19, 2003

Tom Mellins

The Museum of the City of New York hosted 37 attendees for GreenHomeNYC's November forum. The evening started with a guided walk through the 'Big & Green' exhibit by installation curator Tom Mellins.

Tom discussed the history of green building for high-rises and touched on issues as well as examples of big & green in NYC.

The gallery talk was followed by a presentation about the new and future big, green buildings in Battery Park City by engineer Kevin Finnegan of the Battery Park City Authority .

GreenHomeNYC would like to thank the Museum of the City of New York, the evening's speakers, and the attendees who braved a lengthy walk in inclimate weather!
